Our elder generation have an awareness of the political dynamics in India that impact our cause however, the younger generation have at best a surface level interest in the realities on the ground and as this passive awareness becomes more and more distant, our ability to engage in the dialogue in a credible way also diminishes. It is important to create ways in which young people can be inspired to participate in such programmes and feel it is a valuable learning opportunity
