This page provides links to the outcomes of some the projects that have been undertaken by the SIP participants. During the programme the participants are tasked to take an idea towards some tangible outcome and also design in the continuation of the project. Some participants did not create tangible outcomes that could be shared online. The participants are not expected to continue with the project beyond the duration of their programme. Further details of the projects and the lessons learned can be discussed by contacting the SIP participants directly. For more information please contact sip@hssuk.org.

Project title: ANALYSE THE HINDU COMMUNITY'S INVOLVEMENT IN UK POLITICS
The project has been called "Think Policy"
"Think Policy" is concerned with bringing Hindu’s into Politics by creating awareness of policy issues and providing the platform for them to make an opinion on it. It will use online surveys and polls to gather opinion and construct data in a way in which it can make impact on the national or local decision making processes. The idea came about through a report looking at the current involvement of Hindus in the UK political process.

Project title: KALYAN ASHRAM TRUST OUTREACH STRATEGYProject outcome: KATalyst Video
Kalyan Ashram Trust reaches remote parts of rural India to help Vanvasi's reach their full potential. They look to youth to aid them in this mission. KATalyst is a new initiative that searches for talented and dedicated youth from the UK to join their cause. One of my project outcomes was to create a video to help summarise an initiative to create volunteer based opportunities for young people in the UK to support KATs work, carry the story and ethos of KAT and also discover their own potentials to effect grassroots change.
